SUO Wenbin, Ph. D., Researcher, is Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanjing University Committee and Vice President of Nanjing University. 

His main research interests are geological engineering, application of optical fiber sensing technology and higher education management. He has won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education and the China Patent Excellence Award. He is also a Representative of the 14th Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress.
