NJU and JSBC discuss for comprehensive cooperation

On April 1, Ge Lai, President of the Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC), led a delegation to visit NJU to discuss enhancing cooperation. Tan Tieniu, Secretary of the CPC NJU Committee and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), met with Ge and his delegation.


On behalf of NJU, Tan Tieniu warmly welcomed the JSBC delegation and expressed gratitude o for the longstanding care and support from JSBC. He acknowledged past exchanges and interactions between NJU and JSBC, and proposed expanding cooperation on talent cultivation, scientific research and innovation, and market application of scientific and technological advances. He expressed hope that through comprehensive coordination, mutual complementarity, and a spirit of win-win cooperation, both parties could fully achieve significant advancements.


Ge Lai introduced the current business coverage of the JSBC and expressed the intention to cooperate deeply with NJU in four areas: creating programs on modern Chinese civilization, jointly building a demonstration base for post-doctoral research and innovation, establishing an AI technology laboratory, and promoting international exchange and cooperation. He believed that through such deep cooperation, both NJU and JSBC could achieve new development and mutual benefits in their respective fields of expertise.


Yang Zhong, Executive Deputy Secretary of the CPC NJU Committee, presided over the discussion. He emphasized that establishing comprehensive, in-depth, and long-term cooperation is the shared aspiration of both NJU and JSBC. He expressed hope that this discussion would promote fruitful collaborations.


Chen Yunsong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC NJU Committee and Director of the NJU Office, stated that in the next phase, both parties will coordinate to promote cooperation step by step by building cooperation platforms, establishing mechanisms, and fully integrating respective resources.


During the discussion, representatives from both sides also discussed on deepening cooperation in various areas, including media and publicity, program creation, international communication, development and application of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence technology, production of cultural products, and talent cultivation.
