On October 26, the opening ceremony for the 19th NJU Reading Festival was held at Duxia Library, Xianlin Campus. Tan Zhemin, President of NJU and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Suo Wenbin, Vice President of NJU, and Min Tiejun, former Vice President of NJU, attended the ceremony.
On behalf of NJU, Tan welcomed the guests. He pointed out that NJU has been committed to fostering a strong reading culture on campus. The Reading Festival has been successfully held 18 times, playing an important role in knowledge sharing, cultural inheritance, international exchanges and campus culture construction.
