On November 4, Ding Aijun, Assistant President of NJU met with the delegation from National Dong Hwa University(NDHU) led by Chin-Peng Chu, Vice President of NDHU at Nanjing University Xianlin campus.
On behalf of NJU, Ding extended a warm welcome to Chin-Peng Chu and his delegation. Ding said that NJU had reached agreements on student exchange and academic cooperation with colleges and universities in Taiwan, serving as an initiator and participator in establishing high-level cross-strait academic and cultural exchanges platforms. He expected that the visit of NDHU’s delegation would be an opportunity for deepening practical cooperation in faculty and student visits and academic exchange between the two universities.
Chu expressed his gratitude to NJU. He stated that NJU had long been an important partner of NDHU and both universities have been dedicated to promoting contacts and communication through student exchange programs. He briefly introduced NDHU and sincerely expected visits from NJU. Chu also shared information about the strong disciplines of NDHU, anticipating further cooperation and exchanges with NJU in related fields in the future.
During the visit, Chu and his delegation toured Nanjing University Xianlin campus and the History Museum of Nanjing University. Staff from the International Affairs Office (Office of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs) of the Nanjing University accompanied the meeting.
